The off-grid system is a 10.26kW roof mounted solar array with 2x SMA 5kW inverters, 1x AWS HC 1.5kW Wind turbine, 12m tower, wind inverter, wind controller, dump load, 24x BAE900 batteries (23.8kWh usable storage), 1x SMA SunnyIsland 8 battery inverter/charger, SMA online monitoring equipment (to be integrated with existing wifi), and 5.3kVA Auto-start petrol generator. The system design, installation and certification was carried out by Australian Wind and Solar.
